Michael Brennan, who hereto has been working on a consultancy basis with theCompany, has over 25 years' experience in the mining industry. He started hiscareer as an exploration geologist with De Beers and has since worked ondiamond, gold and base metal projects throughout Africa and Europe, holdingvarious senior management positions including project development andoperations. Projects he has been involved in include the development of the River Ranchdiamond project in Zimbabwe for Auridian Limited, the management of theSkorpion Zinc pre-feasibility study in Namibia for Reunion Mining Limited,major plant modifications and the re-commissioning of the 1.6 mtpa Lerala openpit diamond project in Botswana for Mantle Diamonds Limited, the development ofrefractory gold resources at KweKwe, Zimbabwe for Delta Gold Limited, thedevelopment of the Nkana copper oxides in Zambia for Mopani Copper Mines andthe development of the Ruashi copper-cobalt project in DRC for Metorex Limited.
