Conroy Diamonds and Gold plc is a resource company engaged in the exploration and development of its newly discovered Irish gold province. It has delineated a JORC compliant gold resource of over 1,030,000 ounces (440,000 Indicated and 590,000 Inferred) along a 50km gold trend from County Armagh across to Counties Monaghan and Cavan, along which it has identified a series of highly prospective gold targets. The Company is also engaged in exploration for gold in Finland and to a lesser extent for base metals in both Ireland and Finland. In this regard, the Company has previously announced the discovery of a series of extensive zinc-in-soil anomalies on its prospecting licences in Counties Monaghan and Armagh.

Further advancement of its licence area in Ireland and Northern Ireland will continue to be the Company's principal area of focus. The Company intends to carry out further testing and exploration work across a number of its target areas. In particular it will seek to increase and enhance the gold resource at is Clontibret target with a view to being in a position to commence the development of a mining operation. The Company will also seek to progress its exploration work at its licence areas in Finland.
