Catlin Group Limited18 March 2005 Holding in Catlin Group Limited Catlin Group Limited has received notification of the following: Capital Z Catlin Private Investment, Ltd. ("CapZ Catlin Private") and Capital ZCatlin Investment, Ltd. ("CapZ Catlin") are transferring to certain of theirrespective beneficial owners a portion of the Common Shares of the Company andof the warrants to subscribe for Common Shares of the Company held by CapZCatlin Private and CapZ Catlin. The transfers are being made so that theinterests will be owned directly in the name of the beneficial owners.
