Chaarat (AIM - CGH), the AIM quoted exploration and development company with assets in the Kyrgyz Republic, was informed on 19th April that as of that day Martin Wiwen-Nilsson, a non-executive director of the Company, held 9,422,301 ordinary shares of US$ 0.01 each, representing 2.68% of the issued share capital of the Company, following purchases on 18th April of 19,153 ordinary shares at a price of 19.75 pence per share, 18,691 ordinary shares at a price of 20.25 pence per share, 3,895 ordinary shares at a price of 20.75 pence per share, 12,221 ordinary shares at a price of 20.50 pence per share and 71,040 ordinary shares at a price of 20.00 pence per share and purchases on 19th April of 26,148 ordinary shares at a price of 20.25 pence per share, 13,027 ordinary shares at a price of 20.5 pence per share and 48,176 ordinary shares at a price of 20.75 pence per share.
In accordance with the announcement dated 12th April 2017, a further 2,827,698 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each may be acquired by the concert party within a period of three months from 12 April 2017 without triggering a requirement to make a mandatory offer under the Articles of Association of the Company.
