Board Changes

Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (AIM / ASX: CFU), a leading developer of generators that use fuel-cell technology to convert natural gas into electricity and heat for homes and other buildings, is pleased to announce that following his retirement as Chief Technical Officer of CFCL, Dr Karl Föger, has been appointed a Non-executive Director and will be joining the Company's Board on 1 August 2014.

Dr Föger has made a tremendous contribution to the development of the Company and its products over the last 20 years during which time he has exhibited excellent technical, management and commercial skills. Dr Föger holds a PhD in Chemistry and was previously a Non-executive Director of Clean Coal Pty Ltd (CCT). There is no further information to be disclosed in respect of Dr Föger's appointment under Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.

The Board congratulates Dr Föger and looks forward to working closely with him in his new capacity.

The Company also wishes to announce the resignation of Non-executive Director Dr Roman Dudenhausen.

Dr Dudenhausen has been a Non-executive Director of the Company for three years and has been extremely supportive of the company's strategic objectives. He has been instrumental in assisting the management team in lobbying for fiscal incentives to support the development of the company's sales and marketing activities particularly in Germany, one of CFCL's key markets.

He has confirmed his intention to concentrate on his main business activities and has departed the company effective 31 July 2014.

The CFCL Board wishes to thank Dr Dudenhausen for his significant contribution to, and support of, the company's development over the last few years and wishes him well for the future.
