Record Date for UK Offer

Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (AIM / ASX: CFU) gives notice of the record date for the UK offer referred to in the announcement of its Placing and Subscription made on 2 March 2009.

As announced on 2 March, the Company intends to invite shareholders in the UK and Europe to participate in a fundraising at the same issue price as the Placing and Subscription by way of an offer for subscription (the "Offer"). Those shareholders in the UK and Europe entered on the register at 18:00 (London time) on 3 March 2009 (the "Record Date") will be entitled to participate in the Offer. Details of the Offer will be set out in a circular to be published in due course.

The Company also intends to invite shareholders in Australia and New Zealand to participate in the fundraising at the same issue price by way of a Rights Issue. The record date and other details of the Rights Issue will be published shortly.
