EGM Statement
Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (AIM / ASX: CFU), a leading developer of generators that use fuel-cell technology to convert natural gas into electricity and heat for homes and other buildings, is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier today, 28 April 2014, all resolutions proposed were duly passed. The proposed placing as announced on 24 March 2014 will now complete with those shares being admitted at 8.00 a.m. tomorrow, 29 April 2014.
Accordingly, the Company will now continue implementing the strategy set out in its announcement of 24 March 2014 including a comprehensive restructuring to address its future activities and resource requirements. The expected reduction in costs will allow greater concentration of resources on the procurement of larger, project-based sales opportunities which are already in development.
