Accounting reference date

Leni Gas and Oil Plc announces that the Company's accounting reference date has been changed from 31 August to 31 December. Accordingly, the Company will announce its interim results for the period ending 31 August 2008 on or before 30 November 2008 and will publish its financial statements for the 16 month period ending 31 December 2008 on or before 30 April 2009.
