Celtic PLC03 January 2008 CELTIC PLC Director Shareholding Celtic plc ("the Company") has been notified today, 3 January 2008, that TomAllison, a non-executive director of the Company, acquired 1,600,000 OrdinaryShares of 1p each in the capital of the Company, at a price of 64 pence pershare on 31 December 2007. Mr Allison has also made notification under DTR5.1.2R that his interests in the voting shares of the company have exceeded the3% threshold. Prior to the transactions Mr Allison was interested in 1.70% of the votingrights in the Company, consisting of interests directly in 1,632,505 OrdinaryShares of 1p each (1.58 % of voting rights) and indirectly in 125,000 OrdinaryShares of 1p each (0.12 % of voting rights) calculated on the basis of theissued voting capital announced at the end of November 2007. Following the transactions, Mr Allison is interested in 3,357,505 OrdinaryShares of 1p each representing 3.79% of the class and 3.26 % of the votingrights in the Company. Mr Allison's interests consist of direct interests in hisname of 3,232,505 Ordinary Shares (3.65 % of the class and 3.14% of votingrights) and indirect interests in the name of the Tom Allison Retirement BenefitScheme of 125,000 Ordinary Shares (0.14 % of the class and 0.12% of votingrights).
