Significant shareholdings

Celtic plc has today received notification on behalf of Mr John Keane under DTR 5.1.2R that on 14 April 2009 Mr Keane disposed of his entire direct and indirect interests in voting rights in the Company, being 5,900,747 Ordinary Shares of 1p each and 725,000 Convertible Preferred Ordinary Shares of 100p each. 

Prior to the transactions Mr Keane was interested in 6.38% of the voting rights in the Company.

Mr James Mark Keane has notified the Company today that on 14 April 2009 he acquired interests directly in 5,900,747 Ordinary Shares of 1p each (5.685 % of voting rights) and 100,000 Convertible Preferred Ordinary Shares of 100p each (0.096 % of voting rights) and indirectly in 625,000 Convertible Preferred Ordinary Shares of 100p each (0.602 % of voting rights), calculated on the basis of the issued voting capital at 31 March 2009. 

James Mark Keane was interested in 9,100 Ordinary Shares of 1p each (0.008% of voting rights) prior to the transactions.

As a result of the transactions James Mark Keane is interested in 6.39% of the voting rights in the Company, consisting of direct interests in his own name in 5,909,847 Ordinary Shares of 1p each (5.694% of voting rights) and 100,000 Convertible Preferred Ordinary Shares of 100p each (0.096% of voting rights), and an indirect interest in 625,000 Convertible Preferred Ordinary Shares of 100p each (0.602% of voting rights) held in the nominee Hanom 1 Limited.
