Celtic Club Statement.
Further to the announcement on 29thJanuary 2021 confirming that Dominic McKay will join Celtic FC as its new Chief Executive Officer on 1st July 2021 following the retirement of Peter Lawwell on 30th June 2021 - https://www.celticfc.com/news/2021/january/Appointment-of-Dominic-McKay-as-Chief-Executive-Officer/- Scottish Rugby have confirmed today that their Chief Operating Officer and the Chairman of the Guinness Pro14, Dominic McKay will leave Scottish Rugby on the 16th April following a successful handover.
Peter Lawwell will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer and board member at Celtic until 30th June 2021. Dominic McKay will join the Club from 19th April 2021, working with Peter Lawwell and the Executive team to ensure a smooth transition, until Dominic McKay takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer and board member on 1st July 2021.
