Computacenter PLC25 October 2006 Computacenter plc Non-Executive Board Appointment Computacenter plc, the European IT infrastructure services provider, announcesthe appointment of Mr John Ormerod as a non-executive director of the Company,with effect from 31 October 2006. On taking up this appointment, Mr Ormerod willalso become Chairman of the Audit Committee. John Ormerod, aged 57, is currently the senior independent director of MisysPlc. He is a non-executive director of Gemalto NV, where he chairs the AuditCommittee, and a member of the Audit Committee of HBOS plc. He is also adirector of several private companies. He had a long career with Arthur Andersenculminating as the Regional Managing Partner UK and Ireland. Subsequently, hemoved to Deloitte as a Practice Senior Partner, London and a member of the UKExecutive Committee and elected Board.
