Commercial Bank of Qatar announces allocation of shares to Qatar Investment Authority's 5% subscription
Tuesday 17, February 2009, Doha, Qatar: Commercialbank of Qatar , the largest private sector bank in Qatar, today announced that the allocation of the shares, representing the first tranche of 5% of the subscription by Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), has been completed. The total number of shares allocated to QIA is 10,310,265 and these shares are now added to the official list of the Doha Securities Market. With this issuance, the total issued share capital of the Bank will now be 216,515,577 shares of QR 10/- each. The issue was approved at the Extraordinary General Assembly of Commercialbank held on 26 November 2008.
