Cashbox PLC20 November 2006 Cashbox PLC ("Cashbox" or "the Company") Appointment of John Maples MP as Non-Executive Director Cashbox PLC (AIM: CBOX), the AIM listed independent ATM deployer and operator,is pleased to announce that it has strengthened its Board of Directors with theappointment of John Maples MP as a Non-Executive Director. John brings with hima wealth of business experience relevant to Cashbox, including a tenure asChairman of ATM operator Bank Machine Ltd from 2003 until it was acquired byCardtronics Inc in 2005. Mr Maples first became a Member of Parliament for the Conservative Party in 1983and was a Treasury Minister in the governments of both Margaret Thatcher andJohn Major. He has also been Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party, ShadowForeign Secretary and Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Defence. He iscurrently the Member of Parliament for Stratford-on-Avon and a Member of theForeign Affairs Select Committee.
