Cashbox PLC12 April 2007 Cashbox PLC ("Cashbox" or "the Company") Appointment of Chief Executive Cashbox PLC (AIM: CBOX), the AIM listed independent ATM deployer and operator,is pleased to announce that it has appointed Ciaran Morton as Chief ExecutiveOfficer with effect from Thursday 12th April 2007. Ciaran Morton, previously with The Thomson Corporation, has extensive publiccompany experience and has held senior management roles in a number of Thomsoncompanies, with considerable operating experience in Europe, America andAsia-Pacific. In his latest role, General Manager of Thomson Business Intelligence, Ciaranpersonally led the restructuring of a global business with clients in over onehundred countries. Prior to this, aged 31, he was appointed to the board ofM.A.I.D PLC in 1994 and led their expansion into Asia Pacific. Following anacquisition in 2000 Ciaran moved to the Thomson Corporation as Executive VicePresident of The Dialog Corporation, a TLR (Thomson Legal and Regulatory)subsidiary, responsible for all non-US operations. Following Dialog'sacquisition of Intelligence Data and NewsEdge, Ciaran led the successfulintegration of all international operations, with directorships in every keyEuropean market. In 2004 Dialog was unbundled to enable the component parts ofthe business to specialise in key areas and Ciaran led a period of substantialgrowth for the newly created Thomson Business Intelligence, one of the world'slargest suppliers of online strategic business intelligence.
