Roxi Petroleum plc ("Roxi" or "the Company")
Directorate Changes and Result of the Annual General Meeting
Roxi is pleased to announce that Hyunsik Jang (aged 53) has joined the Board of the Company as Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.
Prior to joining Roxi, Mr Jang worked for the oil and gas business of LG International Corp for 26 years, including the roles of Vice President of the Central Asia Division, Vice President of the Energy Division, General Director of ADA Oil LLP and General Director of EPC-Munai LLP.
There are no further matters in connection with the appointment of Hyunsik Jang to be disclosed under Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.
Roxi also announces that Duncan McDougall has stepped down from the Board of the Company with immediate effect to pursue his other interests. Duncan will continue to work with Roxi on a consultancy basis.
Commenting on the appointment of Mr Jang and the departure of Mr McDougall, David Wilkes, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"I warmly welcome Mr Jang to the Board. His experience and understanding of the sector will, I am sure, prove valuable to Roxi as we continue the development of our assets.
Duncan has been a valued member of the Board during his tenure as Technical Director and we are sorry to see him depart. We are however delighted that we will be continuing to work with Duncan and that the Company will have access to his technical expertise."
Annual General Meeting
At the Annual General Meeting of Roxi held today all of the resolutions were passed.
