Direct Investments Update

Capital (LSE: CAPD), a leading mining services company, today provides an update of its investment holding in Allied Gold. 

Allied Gold Corp Limited ("Allied Gold") has recently announced plans of a public listing in North America and the expansion of its executive team (Allied Gold release source). As per Allied Gold's release, this information only represents Allied Gold's belief of future events and therefore there is no assurance that the proposed transactions will occur.

Capital's current effective interest in Allied Gold is 1.55% (pre any potential further transactions highlighted in the Allied Gold's release), which we account for within unlisted (Level 3) investments. At the end of 2022, unlisted investments accounted for $8.3 million out of our total portfolio of $38.7 million, with Allied Gold making up the majority of the unlisted portion.
