Central African Gold, the Aim traded gold mining and exploration company, is pleased to announce that Craig Campbell, the Company's incumbent Chief Financial Officer, has today been appointed to join the Board with immediate effect.

Additionally, Tom Gibian has today resigned as Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect, to be replaced by Navaid Burney, whose appointment takes effect immediately.

Roy Pitchford, CEO of CAG, commented, "I am delighted to welcome Craig to the Board as he has played, and will continue to play, an integral part in CAG's development.

"I would also like to welcome Navaid who has been involved with CAG over a number of years and whose experience should prove invaluable in driving the Company forward.  At the same time, I would like to thank Tom for his contribution to CAG and wish him, on behalf of the Board, every success in the future".
