LICENCE UPDATE
Cadogan today provides a further update regarding its Pirkovskoe andΒ ZagoryanskaΒ special permits ("licences").
Further to the interim injunction obtained by Cadogan on August 1, 2008 preventing its licences being nullified in pursuance of the Orders of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Ukraine ("Ministry"),Β on September 12,Β the Poltava Regional Administrative Court (the "Court") heldΒ a hearing, the purpose of which wasΒ to consider the merits forΒ a permanent injunction against the nullification of the Company's licences.
Neither the Ministry, nor NJSC "Nadra of Ukraine", each of whom was a party to the hearing,Β participated in the hearing.Β The CourtΒ hasΒ rescheduled the hearingΒ for September 26, 2008.Β Cadogan understands that the Court will proceed with the hearing on September 26, 2008 regardless of whether the aforementioned parties are present.
