Oil Quest Resources PLC16 June 2005 OIL QUEST RESOURCES PLCSANDHILLS-2 WELL The directors of Oil Quest Resources plc ("Oil Quest" or the "Company") arepleased to announce that the Company has been informed by Northern Petroleum plcthat the augering operation was completed at the Sandhills-2 appraisal site asplanned. The 14-inch conductor casing was run to 67.5 feet below ground levelin anticipation of the arrival of the BDF #28 drilling rig. Once the drilling operations have begun, it is planned that progress reportswill be issued at 09.30 hours each Wednesday. Should anything significant andmaterial occur, a release will be made in accordance with AIM Regulations. Oil Quest has a 7.5 per cent. interest in the Sandhills-2 joint venture.
