Voss Net PLC23 June 2005 Voss Net plc Trading update The Board of Voss Net plc (the "Company") wishes to update shareholders on itsprogress to acquire a mineral or mining business as indicated in the Company'sinterim statement dated 29 March 2005. At that time, the Chairman stated that; "the Board continues to operate as a cash shell and is reviewing a number ofopportunities in the mining and mineral sectors in the Southern Hemisphere...". In January 2005 there was press speculation that the Company was reviewing apossible nickel mining acquisition in Burundi which caused an untoward movementin the Company's share price. As stated at the time, early discussions had beenin train with such a target but little progress has been made since January, andsuch discussions have now been terminated. As a result of this, the Board has requested and the London Stock Exchange hasagreed that trading on AIM may be resumed in the Company's shares with effectfrom opening of business on 23 June 2005. The Company wishes to reiterate thatall other discussions referred to in the interim statement dated 29 March are ata very early stage.
