Non-Executive Director Appointment

Big Yellow Group PLC ("Big Yellow") is pleased to announce the appointment of Laela Pakpour Tabrizi, as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 July 2020.

Laela has 15 years' experience in corporate finance, and is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer of MotorK, a venture-backed software as a service ("SaaS") tech scale-up, which is the leading European provider of digital solutions for automotive sales and marketing. Prior to joining MotorK, Laela was Group CFO of VistaJet, the global private jet operator, and before that worked in Structured Finance for BNP Paribas. A graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po) and the London School of Economics, Laela also currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of an award-winning East London women's refuge charity called Ashiana Network and as a Trustee of the British Library, where she sits on the audit Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Laela will serve on the Company's Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Aside from the information set out in the announcement above, no further information is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R.

The Company also announces that Georgina Harvey, Non-Executive Director, has informed the Board that she will not be seeking re-election to the Board at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting after seven years of service.
