Further update on BSEC Order
Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited ("the Company"; AIM Symbol: BXP, LEI No.: 213800IMBBD6TIOQGB56), the fast-growing manufacturer of generic pharmaceutical products and active pharmaceutical ingredients, today provides an update on the Company's previous statement, dated 21 May 2025, on the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC)'s proposed appointment of an additional nine independent non-executive directors to the Company's Board of Directors (the "BSEC Order").
The High Court hearing remains ongoing. However, the High Court is currently closed, for its Summer vacation, and will not return until 19 October 2025, at which time the Company will seek to accelerate the hearing of this matter. Given the delay, the Company now believes that the High Court's decision on the BSEC Order will not be forthcoming until November 2025.
