Director's share dealings - DTR 3.1.4

Mr. Nigel Alliance OBE, a non-executive director of the Company, has today informed the Company of the following linked dealings in ordinary shares of the Company, which took place in Manchester on Friday 19th February 2010:-

1) The release from legal charge and transfer back into the legal ownership of Mr Nigel Alliance of 10,866,491 ordinary shares of the Company, formerly held by Adam & Company PLC as collateral.

2) The immediate transfer by Mr Nigel Alliance to Brown, Shipley & Co Limited of 10,866,491 ordinary shares of the Company, to be held by Brown, Shipley & Co Limited as collateral.

The legal title to these 10,866,491 ordinary shares will be held by Brown, Shipley & Co Limited with Mr Nigel Alliance retaining all beneficial, voting and dividend rights in the shares transferred.

There has been no change to the number of voting rights or the beneficial holding in the Company held by Mr Nigel Alliance as a result of these transactions. Mr Nigel Alliance continues to have a beneficial interest in 24,658,313 ordinary shares representing 8.93% of the issued share capital of the Company and a non beneficial interest in 6,830,943 ordinary shares representing 2.47% of the issued share capital of the Company.
