DIRECTORATE CHANGE
The Board of N Brown announces that Ron McMillan will be retiring as Chair and stepping down from the Board with effect from 30 April 2024, for personal reasons. Ron has been on the N Brown Board for 11 years. The Board has resolved to appoint Steve Johnson, following Ron's departure, as interim Executive Chair and Chief Executive Officer until a new permanent Chair is appointed. The search for a permanent Chair has commenced and a further announcement will be made in due course.
Steve Johnson said: "Ron has made a significant contribution as Chair and has played a critical role in the transformation of this company. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Ron for his dedication to N Brown."
Meg Lustman, independent non-executive director, will assume the role of interim Chair of the Nominations and Governance Committee until a permanent successor is appointed.
The Board further announces that Vicky Mitchell, an independent non-executive director, has notified the Board of her intention to step down from the Board of N Brown, in order to focus on other professional commitments following conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting in July 2024. The Board is commencing a process to identify and appoint an additional independent non-executive director shortly and will provide an update on this process in due course.
The Board would like to express their gratitude to Vicky Mitchell for her service to N Brown.
