Baronsmead Venture Trust plc (the "Company")
Directorate Change
The Company announces the following changes to the Board:
Peter Lawrence will retire as Chairman of the Company with effect from 31 March 2022 and will be succeeded by Ms Fiona Miller Smith as Chairman of the Company with effect from the same date.
The Company also announces that Susannah Nicklin will be appointed as Senior Independent Director of the Company with effect from 16th February 2022.
Mr Lawrence commented:
"I am delighted that, following an extensive search process, that Fiona agreed to join our board in August and that now she will succeed me as chairman. I have every confidence that Fiona will continue to lead the board with intelligence and in a collegiate and strong manner in order to further increase the successes of our valuable trust."
Ms Miller Smith commented:
"I am delighted to be appointed to the Chair role at Baronsmead Venture Trust and look forward to working with the team and the Board for the benefit of our shareholders."
The Board would like to thank Mr Lawrence for his dedication, wisdom and considerable contributions to the Board since joining the Company. He has provided exemplary leadership as the Company has grown, and wish him all the very best for the future.
Other than as set out above, there are no further items requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.11 of the UKLA's Listing Rules.
