New Carrier Ethernet Order

BATM to power 10G edge upgrade for leading U.S. blue-chip broadband provider

BATM (LSE: BVC; TASE: BVC), a global provider of advanced network infrastructure, cybersecurity and diagnostic technologies, is pleased to announce that it has received an order for its 10G Carrier Ethernet and aggregation solutions from a leading internet services provider to homes and businesses across the U.S. (the "Customer"), which is owned by one of the world's largest technology conglomerates. The order, which is worth $670k, is to be delivered in the current year.

The order forms part of the Customer's programme to modernise its network by replacing its 1G platforms with 10G intelligent connectivity reaching outdoor and remote edge locations. This will involve upgrading hundreds of outdoor service cabinets to support multi-gigabit enterprise and residential access. These enclosures operate in challenging field environments - from sub-zero winters to desert heat - requiring compact, temperature-hardened, carrier-grade systems designed for high reliability and minimal maintenance.

The Group's solutions were chosen after tests by the Customer achieved a tenfold increase in edge bandwidth, simplified operations and reduced field interventions through built-in test heads and automated diagnostics. By deploying 10G intelligent connectivity with BATM's hardened platforms, the Customer is expanding the reach of carrier-grade performance to previously underserved edge environments and creating a new class of intelligent, cloud-connected edge sites capable of supporting hybrid-cloud traffic, low-latency content delivery and emerging AI-enabled applications.
