Application for Admission

Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. (BBVA) hereby announces that an application has been made to the United Kingdom Listing Authority (UKLA) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE) for 242,424,244 new ordinary shares in the capital of BBVA with a par value of 0.49 Euro per share (the Shares) to be admitted to the Official List of the UKLA and traded on the main market of the LSE. Admission is expected to become effective on 11th December, 2014.

The Shares have been issued in connection with a capital increase charged against new cash contributions and were placed with qualified investors following an accelerated bookbuilding process.
