20 July 2007 Brady plc ("Brady" or "the Company") Board Appointments
Brady is pleased to announce that Gavin Joseph Lavelle, aged 47, will join the Board of Brady as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 3 September 2007.
Gavin has a wealth of experience in trading and risk management software, having previously held the position of CEO of SunGard Sherwood Systems Limited and the Panorama risk management business unit. Prior to this, Gavin held the positions of Managing Director at RioFin Limited, a software company providing trading and risk analytics for equity and equity derivatives instruments and Global Head of Equity Derivative Trading at both Deutsche Bank and Banque Paribas.
The Company is also pleased to announce that, as part of the planned expansion of the Board that has been successfully executed this year, Robert Brady will transfer to the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer with effect from 3 September 2007. In this role, Robert will be responsible for Brady's technology architecture and direction and the leveraging of this with the Company's key partners and clients.
There are no other details to be disclosed relating to Mr Lavelle's appointment pursuant to Rule 17 or to Schedule two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
