BrandShield Contract Win in Financial Services Sector
BrandShield Systems plc (AIM: BRSD), a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions from brand protection to online threat hunting, is pleased to announce that it has completed a contract with a leading company in the payment processing sector. This adds to the growing number of clients in the financial services environment.
The auto-renewing, annual SaaS contract will provide protection services to the client against phishing and impersonation attacks, providing an end to end solution from monitoring threats to their take-down. Payment processing customers suffer from large scale impersonation attacks which act as the gateway to further fraudulent activity targeting both online customers and online retailers, the legitimate recipients of the targeted payments. The brand reputation suffered by the legitimate payments platform can be extreme in terms of negative publicity and confidence amongst retailers and customers in the vast eCommerce space.
