Director/PDMR Shareholding
The Company announces that as part of its approved Save As You Earn ("SAYE") Scheme the following options to subscribe for ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company were granted on 13 May 2020.
Under the Company's 2020 SAYE Scheme (the "2020 SAYE") which was made available to all Group employees, a total of 226 employees including 5 PDMRs, have applied to participate, resulting in the grant of options to subscribe for an aggregate of 198,276 Ordinary Shares (the "2020 SAYE Options"). In addition, Group employees cancelled a total of 48,423 options from previous years (2019 SAYE - 30,843, 2018 SAYE - 14,012 & 2017 SAYE - 3,568) during the period in which the 2020 SAYE was open.
The 2020 SAYE Options each have an exercise price, calculated in accordance with the rules of scheme, of £11.72 (representing a discount of 20% to the mid-market closing price on 22 April 2020), being the last practicable day prior to the invitation to participate in the 2020 SAYE being made). Subject to the rules of 2020 SAYE, participants will be able to exercise their 2020 SAYE options within 6 months commencing from 1 June 2023.
Pursuant to the 2020 SAYE, the following PDMRs of the Company applied to participate, and have been granted 2020 SAYE Options in the amounts shown below:
