Bankers Petroleum announces Annual Meeting voting results and election ofDirectors CALGARY, May 22, 2014 /CNW/ - Bankers Petroleum Ltd. ("Bankers" or the"Company") (TSX: BNK) (AIM: BNK) is pleased to announce that 174,781,347 shares(67.68% of the Company's outstanding shares) were represented at the Annual andSpecial Meeting of Shareholders held on May 21, 2014 (the "Meeting"). All ofthe nine Director nominees proposed in the Company's management informationcircular, dated April 15, 2014, were elected as Directors of the Company. Bankers also reports that 82.51% of the shares represented in person or byproxy at the Meeting were voted in favour of the Restricted Share Unit Plan putforth in the Management Information Circular. Lastly, Bankers reports that 55.59% of the shares represented in person or byproxy at the Meeting were voted in favour of adopting By-Law No. 1. At lastyear's meeting of Bankers Shareholders held on May 21, 2013, BankersShareholders authorized the continuance of the Company from the corporate lawsof British Columbia to the corporate laws of Alberta (the "Continuance") andBy-Law No. 1 was put forward for ratification at the Meeting in connection withthe approval of the Continuance. The Company was formally continued under thecorporate laws of Alberta on March 10, 2014. Accordingly the Company confirms that all resolutions were passed.
