Tecteon PLC04 February 2005 TECTEON PLC AGM Statement At today's Annual General Meeting of Tecteon PLC ("Tecteon" or "the Company"),the technology and solution provider for voice quality, comfort listening andhearing protection for the digital telecommunications markets, Masoud Alikhani,Chairman, made the following comments: "Last year was one of significant progress: we went from the development phaseto product commercialisation, we expanded the marketing team and won our firstorders. The contract announced last September, with an unnamed client, isprogressing to schedule. The design has been finalised and the ramp up for massproduction is on schedule. "The current product range is being well received and as previously indicated,we expect to be in a position to announce new orders this quarter. In addition,we are evaluating an opportunity to develop a potentially lucrative new market.Once plans have been finalised and approved by the Board we will make a furtherstatement. "As announced this morning, we have appointed Dr Amir Nooral as Chief ExecutiveOfficer to reflect the change in the business from pure development tomarketing. Amir joined as Head of Sales and Marketing and it is now appropriatefor him to step up and take the Company forward. "Tecteon has successfully made the transition from a development company to onemaking sales. Our products are unique, enquiry levels are high, we are in activediscussions with several major companies, and we expect to win a number ofcontracts over the coming months.
