The Acoustic Safety Programmehas been put in place to bring about the necessary health & safety improvementsto protect the UK's 1 million call centre operators from the risks associatedwith acoustic shock, and to safeguard the value of this significant employmentsector. The programme is supported by the DTI, TUC, CWU and HSE, amongst others,and is sponsored by several leading industry parties.
