Tecteon PLC01 March 2005 TECTEON PLC Tecteon Joins the CCMA Acoustic Safety Programme Tecteon PLC (http://www.tecteon.com), a leading provider of voice quality,comfort listening and hearing protection technologies and solutions, announcesthat it is supporting the CCMA (Call Centre Management Association) AcousticSafety Programme (http://www.acousticshock.org). The Acoustic Safety Programmehas been put in place to bring about the necessary health & safety improvementsto protect the UK's 1 million call centre operators from the risks associatedwith acoustic shock, and to safeguard the value of this significant employmentsector. The programme is supported by the DTI, TUC, CWU and HSE, amongst others,and is sponsored by several leading industry parties. Tecteon is heavily focused on delivering technically challenging solutions toprotect call centre operators against acoustic shock and average daily noiseexposure levels and regards the acoustic safety programme as crucial to theoperatives' well-being.
