As part of its succession planning and following a formal recruitment process, the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Longfellow as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 14 July 2021.
Simon co-founded and is a director of Steps to Investing Limited which launched in 2020 and also runs marketing consultancy Neo Strategic Marketing. Until 2019 he was the Head of Investment Trust Marketing at Janus Henderson Investors, focused entirely on marketing investment trusts to retail investors.
Simon is currently a non-executive director of Electric and General Investment Fund and a director of Steps to Investing Limited and Neo Strategic Marketing Limited.
His election will be proposed to shareholders for approval at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in September 2021.
There is no other information required to be disclosed pursuant to section 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules in relation to this appointment.
