Board Changes

B&M European Value Retail S.A. (the "Company") announces the following Board changes.

Thomas Hübner will be retiring from the Board with effect from 1 May 2019. Thomas has served as a Non-Executive Director since the IPO of the Company in 2014. He has been the Senior Independent Director and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee of the Company, since joining the Board on the IPO of the Company.

The Board is pleased to announce that Ron McMillan is to be appointed as the Senior Independent Director with effect from 1 May 2019. Ron has served as a Non-Executive Director of the Company since May 2014 and he is the Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees of the Company.

"I would like to thank Thomas for his contribution to the Board and his service as the Senior Independent Director of the Company since the IPO in 2014. We wish him well for the future. The recent appointments of Tiffany Hall in September and Carolyn Bradley in November last year and the retirements of Harry Brouwer and Thomas are part of the continuing process of evolving the Board composition and ensuring an orderly succession for the Non-Executive Directors who oversaw the successful IPO in 2014. Ron is highly experienced and well qualified to take on the role of Senior Independent Director and I look forward to working with him in this role."

The Company makes this announcement in accordance with LR 9.6.11R of the Listing Rules.
