Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that on 12 December 2023 it made a market purchase of 1,673,403 of its own Ordinary shares of 10p each, at a price of 54.42 pence per share and the Company intends to hold these shares in treasury.

As a result of the above transaction the Ordinary shares in issue, shares held in treasury, and the Total Voting Rights of the Company are now as follows:

Number of Ordinary Shares held in treasury	35,699,770
Number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)	360,579,763
