Fonebak plc18 September 2006 Fonebak plc (the "Company") Fonebak wins contract for the provision of mobile phone and administration services to DSG Retail Fonebak, the leading outsource service provider for mobile phone handsetservices, including fulfilment, repair, resale, recycling and environmentalsupport services, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a rollingannual contract for the provision of mobile phone repair and administrationservices to DSG Retail ("DSG"). This contract includes providing such services to the high street brands ofCurrys, Currys Digital and PC World. In the short term, Fonebak will alsoprovide service on products bought via The Link stores, which are now owned byO2. The contract, which is anticipated to generate annual turnover (inclusive ofcharges for replacement handsets and parts) of approximately 6 million in itsfirst full year of operation, is exclusive to the Fonebak group through itsspecialist mobile phone repair service organisation, Intec Cellular ServicesLimited. In connection with the above services contract, Fonebak has also acquired DSG'sStoke based mobile phone repair and administration business. The acquired business includes the transfer of 87 full time employees and 29temporary employees and will continue to provide the following range of servicesto DSG Retail: • Call centre handling for customers; • Mobile phone repair services; • Mobile phone returns management services; • Photographic repair administration services; • Customer management services; The acquired business complements the activities of Intec Group, which wasacquired in July 2005. The Board of Fonebak expects the contract to be earnings neutral in its firstyear and to be earnings enhancing thereafter.
