FILING OF TWO NEW DATA ERASURE PATENTS
Blancco Technology Group Plc (AIM: BLTG, "Blancco" or the "Group"), a leading global provider of mobile device diagnostics and secure data erasure solutions, today announces that it has filed two patent applications to strengthen its commitment to and investment in providing secure data erasure solutions to enterprise businesses.
The first patent is for Blancco's unique, secure and verifiable method of erasing data from mobile and other storage devices. The patent-pending Blancco 5 Mobile erasure method covers the permanent erasure of all data from smartphones and tablets running on iOS, Android, Windows and BlackBerry operating systems, by applying iterative erasure and verification processes to remove previously stored content and mitigate against poorly implemented factory reset methods.
Failing to fully erase accessible user data area on mobile devices could expose the previous device owner's data and ultimately lead to a data breach, fraud or identity theft. The patent-pending erasure process employed by the Blancco 5 Mobile solution is the most comprehensive and effective in permanently and verifiably erasing data from mobile devices.
In addition, the Group has filed a patent application in the UK for its newly developed data eraser agent. The patent-pending eraser agent remotely deploys Blancco's industry leading data erasure technology, thereby giving enterprise businesses the unique ability to remotely erase data from different media types in a consistent way across any geography at any time. Many organizations face the challenge of retaining staff with sufficient knowledge of the appropriate data removal methods for different media types. However, trained individuals can only be present at one specific site at any given time. The eraser agent allows enterprise businesses to reduce costs, drive operational efficiencies and improve their overall security posturing.

· The mobile data erasure patent application has been filed in the United Kingdom (UK Patent Application 1616227.3) initially. The application will be filed internationally in due course.

· Blancco 5 Mobile is capable of erasing up to 50 iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry mobile devices simultaneously and includes a detailed, digitally signed certificate for an audit trail and regulatory compliance.
