the €15 billion Global Covered Bond Programme (the "Programme")

RE: Full Redemption

Pursuant to the purchase by the Issuer of the Covered Bonds in accordance with Condition 6(h) (Purchases) of the Terms and Conditions of the Covered Bonds and the cancellation of the Covered Bonds in accordance to Condition 6(i) (Cancellation) of the Terms and Conditions of the Covered Bonds, the Issuer wishes to announce the full redemption of the above Covered Bonds effective as of 16 April 2012. Following redemption of the Covered Bonds, the Programme was terminated on 16 April 2012.

The Issuer further announces the cancellation of the listing of the Covered Bonds on the Irish Stock Exchange, on the basis that the Covered Bonds have been redeemed in full and the Programme was terminated on 16 April 2012.

Capitalised terms used herein and not otherwise defined shall have the meaning given to them in the Master Definitions and Construction Agreement dated 22 August 2008 (and as amended and restated from time to time).
