Berkeley announces that it has appointed Neil Eady to its board as Chief Financial Officer with effect from today.

Neil Eady is currently Divisional Finance Director of Berkeley Capital, one of the Group's London divisions. Neil joined Berkeley in July 2013 and has worked in a variety of Finance Director roles in the Group including as part of the team that established the St William joint venture in 2014. Before joining Berkeley, Neil was at Land Securities for 10 years performing a number of roles including Corporate Finance Director. Neil has 22 years of experience in the property and development sector. He trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PwC.

Commenting on the appointment Rob Perrins, Executive Chair of Berkeley, said:

"I am delighted to welcome Neil to the Board as CFO. In making this appointment the Board considered both internal and external candidates. Neil's broad experience, both at Berkeley and in his previous career, the relationships he has established and knowledge of our culture and systems make him ideally placed for the role. It also demonstrates the strength and depth at Berkeley."

The Company confirms that there are no details to be disclosed pursuant to UKLR 6.4.8.
