Bank of Ireland announces that Mr. Tom Considine and Mr. Pat Butler, Non-Executive Directors, will retire from the board with effect from 31 December 2017.

Mr. Archie Kane, Chairman of the Bank of Ireland Group, commented:

"On behalf of the Board, I wish to thank Tom and Pat for their diligence and commitment as Board members during a period which has seen Bank of Ireland transformed from an organisation in difficulty to one which has returned to profit and which is well positioned to deliver on its strategic objectives to customers and shareholders."
