Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Over the last nine months the Swallowfield plc Board has undertaken a search for a non-executive director with relevant and appropriate business sector experience to add to the skill mix around the board table. The Board is pleased to report that its search has been successful and is delighted to announce the appointment of Franklin Berrebi as an independent non-executive director with effect from today.

Franklin, a French national, brings a wealth of international experience in the consumer goods market having spent 33 years with L'Oreal, latterly as the Managing Director of L'Oreal Consumer Goods Europe. He has over the years gained extensive experience in Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing management and strategy with the Company. Since retiring from L'Oreal in 2004 Franklin has worked with AXA Private Equity on the Board of a number of companies including home care company Spotless Group. He is also a board member of Altavia Europe, a member of the French Advertisers Association and a lecturer in Marketing at HEC and Paris Dauphine.

Franklin will join the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination committees.

Franklin Pinhas Berrebi (aged 67) is currently a director of Altavia Europe and Organic & Fair, both of which are registered in France. In the past 5 years he has been a director of Spotless Group, a company registered in France.
