Notification of transactions of directors/persons discharging managerial responsibilities and their connected persons
In accordance with DTR 3.1.4R, the Company announces that it was today notified (in accordance with DTR 3.1.2R) that, following the Company's 5 for 13 rights issue at 790 pence per new ordinary share ("Share"), adjustments had been made to options granted under the Company's share plans to take account of the Rights Issue on the basis described below. In accordance with the rules of certain of the Company's share plans, the Company's auditors have confirmed that the adjustments are fair and reasonable and HM Revenue & Customs have approved the adjustments to options outstanding under those of the Company's share plans that have been approved by them.
The adjustments increase the number of Shares subject to options by a factor of 1.13417 and, where applicable, reduce the exercise price per Share by a factor of 0.88170. The adjustments to the options held by Directors and PDMRs of the Company under each plan are set out below.
