Completion of the acquisition of Scandinavian AirAmbulance Holding AB (publ) ('SAA')

Babcock confirms that Avincis has today completed the acquisition of 84.6% of SAA for a cash consideration of SEK206 million (Β£18 million) and acquired net debt of SEK484 million (Β£42.5 million).

SAA provides emergency medical services in Sweden and Finland from 12 permanent bases. For the financial year ended 30 April 2014 the business expects to report revenue of SEK482 million (Β£42 million).
