SUB: CESSATION OF SHRI PRASAD R. MENON, INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR OF AXIS BANK LIMITED
REF: REGULATION 30 OF SEBI (LISTING OBLIGATIONS AND DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS) REGULATIONS, 2015 ("LISTING REGULATIONS")
This is to inform you that Shri Prasad R. Menon, Independent Director of the Bank has ceased to hold office as an Independent Director of the Bank, with effect from the close of business hours on Monday, 8th October 2018, upon completion of the maximum permissible tenure of 8 continuous years, under Section 10A (2A) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.
On behalf of the Employees & Directors of the Bank, we place on record the invaluable contributions rendered by Shri Prasad R. Menon and our deep appreciation for the insightful perspectives and suggestions provided by him during the deliberations at the meetings of the Board and the Committees thereof, during his tenure as an Independent Director of the Bank.
