Sandeep Poddar is an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a Master in Business Law from National Law School, Bangalore. Prior to joining Axis Bank, he has spent eminent part of his career at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited, a global pharmaceutical company, where he headed the secretarial function for the organization, including subsidiaries across the globe and US listing compliances. He has also led a few strategic projects for DRL supporting larger vision of the organization. 

Over a career spanning around 25 years with corporate groups such as Vedanta, Ispat and Usha Martin, Sandeep Poddar has extensive experience in corporate laws, corporate governance, board processes, US listed company compliances, etc.
