Notice of Dividend Currency Exchange Rate - Interim Dividend

On 14 July 2022, Avast plc announced its intention to pay a conditional interim dividend in respect of the six months ending 30 June 2022 of 4.8 US cents per ordinary share conditional on the recommended merger announced on 10 August 2021 between the Company and NortonLifeLock Inc. not becoming effective prior to 11 August 2022 (the "Conditional Interim Dividend").
Eligible shareholders will receive their Conditional Interim Dividend in US Dollars ("USD") unless a shareholder has elected to receive payment in pounds sterling ("GBP").
This announcement confirms that the currency exchange rate applicable for the Conditional Interim Dividend for shareholders who elected to receive the dividend in GBP by the applicable deadline is:

The Conditional Interim Dividend will be paid on 12 August 2022 to shareholders who were on the register at the close of business on 22 July 2022.
