STELLA PIRIE OBE APPOINTED AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Avon Rubber p.l.c. is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of StellaPirie OBE as Non-Executive Director. Ms Pirie, aged 54, holds a degree in Economics from the University of Manchesterand started her career as an auditor at KPMG before becoming Divisional FinanceDirector at Rotork Plc. In 1989 Stella and her husband set up their ownbusiness, an exporting SME, to design and manufacture high pressure valves andhydraulic equipment. The company was sold to a management team in 2002. Stella also serves as a Non-Executive Director of GWR Group Plc, Schroder UKGrowth Fund Plc, Stroud & Swindon Building Society and as Chairman of GWR (West)Ltd, Bath Spa University College and the UK TI International Trade DevelopmentAdvisory Group.
